About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Software Engineer to join our team at Vitality. As a key member of our Member Servicing and Claims - IT team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining Salesforce and its allied integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Software Development: Implement the software development life cycle, building, maintaining, testing, delivering, releasing, and documenting accessible and customer-centric software solutions.
  • Deliver to Standards: Adhere to and apply Vitality's defined technical process standards to ensure the effective management of risks and the protection of Vitality's data.
  • Provide Integrated Solutions: Ensure solutions are user-focused, strategically aligned, and effectively integrated across multiple teams and platforms to meet needs.
  • Engage Stakeholders: Collaborate, work with, and develop an understanding of the needs and requirements of both internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Build and Transfer Skills and Knowledge: Take responsibility for developing personal skills and expertise aligned to the role, and assist more junior Software Engineers to develop their skills and knowledge.
Requirements
  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
  • Experience with Agile Software delivery (SCRUM).
  • Experience consulting with end users to understand their requirements and proposing best practice Salesforce solutions.
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Aura, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
  • Experience with Salesforce DX and CI/CD.
