About the Role

Vitality is seeking a highly skilled Salesforce Software Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our software development team, you will play a critical role in building and maintaining Salesforce and its associated integrations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement the software development life cycle, including building, maintaining, testing, delivering, releasing, and documenting user-friendly and customer-centric software solutions.
  • Deliver to standards by understanding, adhering to, and applying Vitality's defined technical and process standards, ensuring the effective management of risks and the protection of Vitality's data.
  • Provide integrated solutions by ensuring solutions are user-focused, strategically aligned, and effectively integrated across multiple teams and platforms to meet business needs.
  • Engage stakeholders by collaborating, working with, and developing an understanding of the needs and requests of both internal and external stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Build and transfer skills and knowledge by taking responsibility for developing personal skills and expertise aligned to the role, assisting more junior Software Engineers to develop their skills and knowledge, and sharing ideas, providing coaching, support, and feedback.
Essential Skills
  • Salesforce Administrator and Platform Developer I certifications.
  • Experience with Agile Software delivery (SCRUM).
  • Practical experience configuring Salesforce (coded and declarative).
  • Strong knowledge in Salesforce Administration including security model (permissions & sharing).
  • Strong knowledge of Apex, Aura, SOQL, Lightning Web Components, and Flows.
  • Experience with integrating with 3rd party applications using REST API's and middleware.
