A rapidly expanding consultancy firm with ambitious growth objectives is seeking a committed Geospatial Analysis Specialist to oversee the mapping production for the ecological division.
This consultancy boasts a team of seasoned ecologists, all proficient in QGIS, who, due to a rising number of Biodiversity Impact Assessment initiatives, require a dedicated professional to provide consistent support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the ecology team to deliver mapping assistance and enhance the capacity for CAD map production.
- Contribute to the expansion of the organization’s expertise in QGIS.
- Manage and develop mapping templates, projects, and procedures.
- Engage in opportunities to lead GIS-focused projects and advance into a strategic position.
Work Environment:
This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring attendance in the office for two days each week.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience with QGIS and CAD software.
- Ability to work autonomously without supervision.
- Strong communication skills with fluent written and spoken English.
- Familiarity with ecological surveys.
