Investment Risk Manager

Join our team at People's Partnership as an Investment Risk Manager, where you will play a crucial role in providing first-line risk oversight for our FCA-regulated subsidiary, People's Investment Limited.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Establish and maintain an investment risk framework and governance structure that integrates with our Group-wide risk framework.
  • Act as the first line of risk defense for People's Investment Limited, agreeing fund risk frames with the CIO and CRO and monitoring these using independent views on underlying holdings data supported by appropriate systems.
  • Develop and integrate data and systems alongside other teams to support independent risk views, reviewing and challenging investment proposals made by the Investment team.
  • Provide risk signoff into the Investment Exec on all investment proposals.
Requirements:
  • 5-10 years' experience within an asset manager or HF environment.
  • CFA, IMC, or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience of performance and risk attribution on single and cross-asset class portfolios, including familiarity with different risk systems.
  • Understanding of fund and asset valuation principles and methodologies, as well as performance attribution for each asset class.
