Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Special Educational Needs Instructor to become part of a lively educational community.

Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with fellow educators to design and execute effective teaching methodologies.

  • Offer guidance and training to classroom personnel on how to support students with special educational needs.
Maintain open communication with parents and guardians regarding the academic progress and well-being of students.

  • Engage in school functions, extracurricular activities, and opportunities for professional growth.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, candidates should possess:
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification (Non-qualified candidates may be considered based on relevant experience).
  • Experience working with special needs, including Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC), Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD), and SEMH.
  • An Enhanced DBS (child and adult) registration or a willingness to obtain a new certificate.
  • A minimum of six months' experience working with children and young people.
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching primary-aged students.
  • A strong understanding of the primary education curriculum and effective teaching practices.
