Job Title: Field ICT Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Field ICT Engineer to join our client on a 6-month fixed-term contract with a strong chance of the position going fully permanent after 6 months.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for visiting various sites, fixing issues, updating IT systems, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain system performance and adhere to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) to maximize colleague satisfaction.
  • Diagnose, repair, and install systems, achieving a high level of technical expertise across the range of products we support.
  • Assist with larger installation and service projects, working closely with the wider team.
  • Handle colleague queries courteously, working closely with Support Administration and Third Parties to resolve issues.
  • Undertake site audits, health and safety duties, and other responsibilities as required, including travel and overnight stays.
Requirements:
  • Significant industry experience as a field engineer.
  • Strong customer service orientation with experience in similar fast-paced industries (e.g., automotive, hospitality, retail, logistics).
  • ITIL awareness and good working knowledge of PCs, printers, communication equipment, and networking.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and SharePoint. MS365 and Microsoft Entra knowledge is preferred.
  • Full driving license and own car - essential.
  • Experience with VoIP deployment.
  • Networking, Microsoft Qualifications (MCP, CCIE) are a plus.
  • Knowledge of automotive repair systems like Autoflow or Audatex is an advantage.
  • Experience in the automotive industry or other fast-paced industries is desirable.
