Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Instructor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Lecturer/Assessor to join our team at Bath College. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and assessment to our students, ensuring they receive the best possible education and training in the field of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver high standards of teaching and learning, monitoring assessment processes in accordance with examination requirements.
- Deliver up to Level 3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning standards and programmes using appropriate teaching methods.
- Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials, and other related activities that impact on the effectiveness of learning.
- Plan and deliver specialist sessions in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, using appropriate teaching methods, while promoting diversity within the industry and the College.
- Coordinate and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students' learning carried out by the course team.
- Work proactively to forward the success and vision of the department.
- Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade B or above.
- Qualified to Level 3, or equivalent, in a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning discipline.
- TAQA Assessor Award (or willing to work towards).
- L5 Teaching Qualification (or willing to work towards).
