Bath College is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Instructor/Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality teaching and learning experiences to our students, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Key Responsibilities:- Teaching and Learning: Deliver high standards of teaching and learning, monitoring assessment processes in accordance with examination requirements.
- Curriculum Development: Develop and deliver up to Level 3 Refrigeration and Air Conditioning standards and programmes using appropriate teaching methods.
- Assessment and Evaluation: Produce schemes of work, lesson plans, assessment plans, learning materials, and maintain records of formative and summative assessments of students' learning.
- Specialist Sessions: Plan and deliver specialist sessions in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning, using appropriate teaching methods, while promoting diversity within the industry and the College.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work proactively with the Apprenticeship and Curriculum Managers to forward the success and vision of the department.
- Qualifications: Level 2 (e.g. GCSE) English and Maths at Grade B or above, Qualified to Level 3, or equivalent, in a Refrigeration and Air Conditioning discipline.
- Assessor Award: TAQA Assessor Award (or willing to work towards).
- Teaching Qualification: L5 Teaching Qualification (or willing to work towards).
