Security Consultant Job Description

Hamilton Barnes is seeking a seasoned Security Consultant to provide expert security guidance to key business units and programs.

This role involves supporting projects through the security due diligence process, performing risk assessments, and ensuring the secure delivery of services.

  • Support projects through the security due diligence process
  • Perform risk assessments and ensure secure delivery of services
  • Partner with business units to manage and implement security effectively
  • Provide Information Security consultancy on projects, solution design, and compliance
  • Conduct and interpret risk assessments, recommend treatments, and support remediation
  • Facilitate the closure of Secure Project Lifecycle processes and support Risk Acknowledgement and Mitigation Plans (RAMPs)

Requirements:

  • Experience in an Information Security Consultancy Role
  • Strong experience in Agile frameworks
  • Proficiency in risk and governance frameworks
  • Information Security certifications
  • Experience working in multinational companies and translating security risks into business terms

Location: Ipswich (Hybrid, 3 days per week on-site)
