Deputy Home Manager Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Home Manager to join our team at Adecco. As a Deputy Home Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our care home, working closely with the Home Manager to deliver exceptional care and support to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Residents: Ensure that each service user lives in a safe and supportive environment, fostering their personal dignity and independence.
  • Staffing: Assist in the recruitment and selection of staff, participate in training and development, and provide regular supervision and support.
  • Building: Ensure the building complies with registration standards and legislation, and maintain a clean and safe environment.
  • Finance: Assist the Home Manager with expenditure and cost-effective use of resources.
  • Liaison: Liaise with relatives, GPs, consultants, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and care.
Requirements:
  • Up-to-date knowledge of physical and functional mental illness in the elderly.
  • Commitment to our philosophy and values of respect, choice, privacy, independence, participation, community presence, and individual development.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and maintain good relationships with colleagues and stakeholders.
