Deputy Home Manager Position

Our client, a thriving healthcare organisation, is seeking an experienced and compassionate individual to fill the role of Deputy Home Manager in their Nursing Home located in Merseyparks. As a key member of the management team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest standard of care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:- Promote our client's philosophy and values within the home, fostering a secure, dignified, and private environment for each resident.
- Ensure regulatory compliance by maintaining the home's adherence to the Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards.
- Support residents in developing their skills and maximising their personal independence.
- Collaborate with the Home Manager in organising case reviews and medical assessments.
- Assist with staff recruitment and selection, ensuring the home has a skilled and dedicated team.
- Provide regular supervision and support to staff members, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Oversee staff rotas, annual leave, and disciplinary procedures, ensuring efficient management of the team.
- Maintain health and safety compliance by performing regular risk assessments and ensuring the home meets all necessary requirements.
- Support the Home Manager in managing finances and resources, ensuring effective use of resources and budget.
- Cultivate positive relationships with relatives, healthcare professionals, and stakeholders, promoting a collaborative approach to care.
- Previous experience in a managerial role within the healthcare sector, with a proven track record of success.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
- Excellent organisational and time management abilities, with a focus on delivering high-quality care.
- Passion for providing exceptional care to older adults, with a commitment to promoting respect, choice, independence, and participation.
In return for your dedication, our client offers a competitive salary of £40,000 per annum, based on experience, along with 5.6 weeks of holiday (including public holidays). You will have the opportunity to work full-time hours on a permanent basis, with flexibility required for some weekend and evening shifts.
