Pertemps TM is seeking skilled professionals to join our team, working closely with a reputable client in the logistics sector.

As a Cost Management Specialist within the Fleet division, you will play a crucial role in overseeing various Technical and Financial Control functions. You will collaborate with a dedicated team comprising Technical Managers, Service Coordinators, and Administrative Staff, engaging in a variety of processes aimed at achieving daily, weekly, and monthly objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Thoroughly review, question, and approve the expenses associated with up to 150 daily operations
  • Oversee the estimate and approval workflow through various communication channels
  • Engage with numerous Maintenance Providers and their unique billing practices
  • Conduct quality assessments of compliance documentation
  • Investigate warranty discrepancies
  • Provide reports on the accuracy of supplier billing within the Maintenance network
Ideal Candidates Will Have:
  • Strong IT proficiency, particularly with software tools such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a relevant field of Automotive Engineering and/or Maintenance
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a Workshop and/or Fleet setting
While not mandatory, experience in authorizing work within a fleet context, collaborating with suppliers, and verifying HGV compliance documentation is a plus.

Additional Information:
  • This position requires availability from Monday to Friday, with working hours from 8 am to 5 pm (flexible shifts within this timeframe)
  • The offered pay rate for this role is £17.16 per hour
  • Post-training, hybrid working arrangements are available, allowing for 2 days of remote work
  • This role is offered on a temporary ongoing basis, with no specified end date.
