About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Director of Operations to lead our catering teams across various regions. This position is integral to our Education division, focusing on providing high-quality, nutritious, and sustainable food options for students.
Your Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will demonstrate exceptional leadership skills and the ability to drive results through effective team management. Key responsibilities include:
- Fostering a culture of outstanding customer service within the community.
- Ensuring compliance with legal and company standards within the designated area.
- Creating opportunities for financial growth and consistently surpassing financial objectives.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with senior clients to enhance service delivery and sustain competitive advantages.
- Overseeing the Operations Management function within the assigned area.
- Managing recruitment, training, and development of the operations team to ensure efficient and high-quality service delivery.
- Supporting the sales team with operationally sound site visits and presentations.
What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Extensive experience in contract catering, particularly in a senior management role across multiple sites.
- Experience in the education sector is advantageous.
- A proven track record of leading and motivating diverse teams.
- Strong client relationship management skills.
- Confidence in financial management and P&L oversight.
