Salary: £70,000-£88,000 + Bonus

We are collaborating with an innovative financial technology company that has achieved remarkable growth and is now recognized on a global scale. Their objective is to empower individuals to attain improved financial health, regardless of their circumstances.

As a result of their expansion, they are seeking a Lead Performance Marketing Strategist to spearhead the UK customer acquisition strategy. This role will initially oversee a team of two and will report directly to the Head of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Development and Leadership

  • Establish the strategic direction, business objectives, and project timeline to ensure effective market entry.
  • Formulate the vision, strategy, and implementation plans to expand our user base.

Team Leadership

  • Guide and nurture the performance marketing team, motivating and mentoring team members to reach their objectives.

Campaign Oversight

  • Manage the UK customer acquisition strategy across various paid media platforms, including Meta, Google, and TikTok.
  • Identify critical growth opportunities and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance efficiency and alignment.
  • Oversee and refine our content strategy with a strong emphasis on search engine optimization.

Operational Excellence

  • Direct the operational execution and project management of significant initiatives.
  • Create a comprehensive experimentation roadmap with established feedback mechanisms.

Collaboration with Stakeholders

  • Engage closely with internal stakeholders and external partners.
  • Serve as the primary expert for all digital channels in the UK and work in conjunction with global markets.

Performance Reporting and Analysis

  • Lead business performance reporting during weekly, monthly, and quarterly reviews, providing insights and metrics.
  • Plan, manage, and allocate the performance marketing budget in a cost-effective manner.

Ideal Qualifications:

  • Extensive background in performance marketing.
  • In-depth knowledge of Google Marketing Platform (Ads, Analytics, SA360, Tag Manager) and their respective APIs.
  • Strong understanding of PPC automation, bidding strategies, and concepts such as customer lifetime value.
  • Proficient experience with Meta, TikTok, and SEO practices.
  • Experience collaborating with product teams and data engineers.
  • Solid grasp of marketing measurement and attribution methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve complex challenges and develop clear strategies based on data and customer insights.
  • Analytical, data-driven, and results-oriented with the capacity to thrive in a dynamic environment.
  • Proven experience in effectively managing and leading a team.
