Job Role: M&E Estimator

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and assess requirements for producing tenders and budgets, establishing associated costs for M&E Lifecycle, Sustainability Projects, Contract Variations, and New Tender opportunities.
  • Conduct site surveys as required.
  • Manage client and key stakeholder relationships in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop and return accurate and quality tender/estimates within deadlines.
  • Work with existing teams to interpret information and price accurate pricing documents.
  • Develop tender strategies with commercial, bid, and operational teams.
  • Establish rates, prices, and incentive schemes for inclusion in tenders.
  • Produce commercial bids and documentation for approval.
  • Understand different forms of contracts, their interpretation, and identify potential risks.
  • Negotiate and establish agreed terms and conditions with clients.
  • Obtain best pricing from supply chain partners.
  • Ensure compliance with contracting standards, job costs, and expected margins.
  • Create reports for senior management.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years industry experience.
  • OND/HND/DEGREE in Building Services/Mechanical/Electrical or a related discipline.
  • Full UK driving license.
