This position offers a unique opportunity to provide specialized educational support for students with Autism Spectrum Disorder across multiple primary schools. The role is designed to transition from a temporary to a permanent position, ensuring a stable environment for both educators and students.

Salary: MPS- MPS6: £257.88
Contract Type: Temporary to Permanent
Key Responsibilities:
1. Multi-School Collaboration:
Work in partnership with four primary schools, leveraging your expertise in ASD to enhance educational experiences for students with special educational needs.
2. Teacher Guidance:
Support educators in creating and executing individualized strategies and interventions tailored for students with ASD, fostering inclusive learning environments.
3. Curriculum Modification:
Assist in the adaptation of educational materials and curriculum to cater to the unique needs of students with ASD, ensuring they receive optimal learning opportunities.
4. Professional Development:
Deliver training sessions for teaching staff, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to effectively support students with ASD.
5. Progress Assessment:
Oversee the evaluation and tracking of student progress, providing constructive feedback to educators and adjusting teaching methods as necessary.
Candidate Profile:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A requirement for this role.
- Experience with ASD: Proven experience in teaching and supporting students with Autism Spectrum Disorder, preferably in a specialized educational setting.
- Effective Communication: Strong ability to engage with teachers, students, parents, and external professionals.
- Team Collaboration: A collaborative mindset, capable of working across various schools and with diverse stakeholders to enhance SEND provisions.
