About Us: TimePlan Education is supporting a well-regarded and inclusive primary SEND school in Hackney. The school is dedicated to providing outstanding education in a nurturing and engaging environment for children with special educational needs.
The Role: We are looking for a passionate and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) or unqualified SEND Teacher to join our school in January 2025. The successful candidate will work across two Key Stage 1 classes, supporting children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Severe Learning Difficulties (SLD). You will collaborate with teachers to deliver high-quality education, lead lessons, and provide individual support to help pupils thrive.
Assist in planning and delivering tailored lessons for SEND pupils.
Provide one-on-one and group support, helping students overcome learning barriers.
Contribute to the development and implementation of Individual Education Plans (IEPs).
Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers and parents.
Participate in school events, staff meetings, and training opportunities.
Experience : Previous experience working with children with special educational needs, especially at the primary and Early Years levels.
