About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Adult Social Care Lawyer to join our Legal Team at the London Borough of Lewisham. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Adult Social Care Law and be able to handle a demanding caseload of predominantly Adult Social Care matters.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deputise for the Senior Social Care Lawyer
  • Handle a busy caseload of Adult Social Care matters, including court and advice work
  • Advise Social Services clients on all aspects of relevant legislation
  • Prepare legal documentation and advise on social care law
  • Attend meetings with clients and external parties

Requirements

The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer with at least 3 years PQE and a current practising certificate. Experience in Adult Social Care Law is essential, and a local government background is preferred.
