Practice Environment

Our practice is characterized by a collaborative atmosphere, comprising two existing partners, three salaried doctors, a practice nurse, a pharmacy technician, a care coordinator, a health care assistant, and an administrative team, all working in unison. We also benefit from the expertise of first contact physiotherapists, pharmacists, mental health professionals, and social prescribers, ensuring comprehensive patient care.

Key Responsibilities

The General Practitioner Associate will play a vital role in:

  • Providing high-quality clinical care to our patient population.
  • Conducting patient consultations during designated clinical hours.
  • Triage patients presenting in person or via telephone.
  • Performing home visits when necessary.
  • Managing repeat prescription requests and ensuring compliance with local and national prescribing guidelines.
  • Referring patients to secondary care as appropriate.
  • Promoting healthy living and providing wellness advice.
  • Making independent clinical decisions based on patient needs.

Communication and Collaboration

Effective communication is essential in this role. The General Practitioner Associate will:
