About the Job

A field-based account management role covering Greater Manchester (East), Glossop, and Ashton-under-Lyne. Responsibilities include:

  • Meeting existing business customers daily
  • Driving sales growth, market share, and profitability within the designated area
  • Attending 8-10 customer meetings per day in stores, including independent retailers and retail chains
  • Launching new brands and educating point of sale staff and retailers to overcome out-of-stock situations
  • Ensuring point of sale staff are trained and aware of products, price points, and maintaining the correct range and availability

Training includes negotiation, objection handling, information gathering, distribution, effective merchandising, and more. Opportunities for career progression exist within the UK and internationally.

Package and Benefits

  • Salary of £34K, reviewed annually

Requirements

To be successful, you will need:

  • A driving licence with no more than 6 points
  • Desire to succeed
  • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent time management and planning skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet daily targets
  • Great relationship-building skills
  • Willingness to travel and stay away from home frequently
