Senior Clinical Fellow in Critical Care Retrieval and Transfer

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow in Critical Care Retrieval and Transfer to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Critical Care Transfer Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality intensive care during inter-hospital transfers of critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities- Deploy in a team alongside a support worker and a retrieval and transfer practitioner to provide critical care during transfers.
- Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless patient care.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of clinical governance policies and procedures.
- Participate in education and training programs to maintain and enhance clinical skills.
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- ST4 or equivalent experience in Intensive Care Medicine or Anaesthesia.
- FRCA or FFICM qualification.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and remain calm under pressure.
- Completed intermediate level training in Anaesthesia or Intensive Care Medicine.
- Substantive Consultant post within Wales.
- Diploma in Retrieval and Transfer Medicine.
- Fellowship in Immediate Medical Care.
