About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Clinical Fellow in Critical Care Retrieval and Transfer to join our team at Swansea Bay University Health Board. As a key member of our Critical Care Transfer Service, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality intensive care during inter-hospital transfers of critically ill patients.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy in a team alongside a support worker and a retrieval and transfer practitioner to provide critical care during inter-hospital transfers.
- Work collaboratively with our team to develop and implement a national Critical Care Transfer Service for Wales.
- Contribute to the development of clinical governance and quality improvement initiatives within the service.
- Participate in education and training events to maintain currency and expertise in critical care retrieval and transfer medicine.

Requirements
- ST4+ equivalent training in Intensive Care Medicine/Anaesthesia.
- Full GMC registration with a license to practice.
- Experience in post-graduate/multidisciplinary education.
- Ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team in both hospital and transport environments.
