About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Autocentre Service Manager to lead our busy garage in Sheffield. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the efficient and profitable operation of the workshop and MOT lanes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the garage, ensuring high-quality customer service and meeting or exceeding targets for MOTs, labour, and parts.
  • Lead and motivate a team of technicians and MOT testers to achieve exceptional results.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve workshop efficiency, productivity, and profitability.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and effective problem-solving.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to inform business decisions and drive growth.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Service Manager or similar role in a garage or repair chain.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed business decisions.
  • Knowledge of garage operations, including workshop management, MOT procedures, and customer service standards.
