Job Description:

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Java Software Engineer to join our team at Atos. As a key member of our software development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining large-scale microservices architectures using Java (Spring Boot).

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop high-quality Java code, following best practices and industry standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize project requirements.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing frameworks to ensure high code quality.
  • Work closely with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of microservices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Java and Spring Boot technologies, and apply this knowledge to improve our software development processes.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience with Java (Spring Boot) and microservices architecture.
  • Excellent understanding of software design patterns and principles.
  • Proficient in containerization using Docker and relational databases such as Postgres.
  • Experience with test-driven development, CI/CD pipelines, and agile methodologies.
  • Knowledge of Kafka and modern DevOps practices is a plus.
