Job Title: Head of Housing

At Vox Network Consultants, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our Housing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing specialist homelessness casework to households, ensuring that all aspects of casework are carried out in accordance with legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives set out at the national, regional, and local level.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Provide excellent customer service to homeless applicants and key partners.
  2. Deliver high-quality homelessness casework, ensuring that all aspects of casework are carried out in accordance with legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives.
  3. Collaborate with internal and external partners to improve outcomes for those threatened with homelessness or homeless applicants.
  4. Contribute to embedding safeguarding best practices across the wider Housing Advisory Service.
  5. Support the development of the Homeless Families & Singles' Team and wider Housing Advisory Service.
Requirements:
  1. Significant experience of providing specialist homelessness casework to homeless applicants with complex needs.
  2. Proven ability to work collaboratively to improve outcomes for homeless individuals with complex needs.
  3. Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to consistently deliver high levels of service to homeless applicants.
  4. Ability to ensure all aspects of casework are carried out in accordance with legislation, strategies, policies, and initiatives.
Contract:

Initial 3 to 6 month ongoing contract with the opportunity to extend. PAYE via Umbrella. Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm.
