Job Title: Principal Subsea Systems Integration Engineer

Our client, a global energy company, is seeking a Principal Engineer, Subsea System Integration to join its UK office in Basingstoke.

This role will play a pivotal part in supporting worldwide offshore deepwater projects, ensuring the technical integrity, fluid deliverability, and operability of subsea systems throughout the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and approve third-party contractor designs.
  • Assist in project development and coordinate subsea specialists.
  • Participate in subsea project design reviews.
  • Ensure the performance, installability, and operability of subsea systems.
  • Ensure consistency, quality, and cost effectiveness of project design.
  • Liaise with other disciplines during project execution.
Requirements:
  • Extensive experience in subsea system integration throughout project phases.
  • Proficiency in process simulation and multiphase transportation software.
  • Knowledge of construction, installation, and testing activities.
  • Experience with offshore structures design and geotechnical surveys.
  • Project management skills, including risk management.
  • Proficiency in Office Software and basic knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Significant experience in subsea production system detailed engineering, fabrication, testing, installation, and start-up is a major advantage.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum BS Degree in Engineering discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in the Oil and Gas Industry with respect to subsea system and network engineering.
