Job Title: Building Fabric Team Leader

We are seeking an experienced Building Fabric Team Leader to join our team in and around the Exeter area.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of building fabric maintenance professionals, ensuring the delivery of high-quality services to our clients. This role involves managing a team, providing guidance and coaching, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of building fabric maintenance professionals, providing guidance and coaching to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Manage and maintain a fleet of vehicles, ensuring they are in good working order and comply with company standards.
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance schedules to ensure the upkeep of our clients' properties.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the successful delivery of projects, including the coordination of suppliers and the management of materials and equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including the completion of risk assessments and the implementation of control measures.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including timesheets, schedules, and maintenance reports.
  • Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of our services.
Requirements:
  • Experience of working in a supervisory or management role, preferably in a building fabric maintenance environment.
  • City & Guilds or BTEC qualifications in a relevant field would be an advantage.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and occasional overnight stays.
  • Valid UK driving license.
