Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Engineer to join our team at General Dynamics UK. As a Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the quality of our products and services, and will be responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and identifying opportunities for improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Investigate and resolve non-conforming products, services, and processes
  • Perform audits at agreed points in the project/product lifecycle
  • Provide support to Senior Quality Manager, Manufacturing leads, Programme Managers, Engineering, and other business areas with regards to Quality
  • Attend key reviews in accordance with agreed plans, including reviews at sub-contractors when required

Requirements

  • Qualification and background in an Engineering discipline
  • OND/HNC or equivalent qualification in subjects such as Electronics, Systems, Hardware, or Software
  • Knowledge of MS Office tools
  • Working knowledge of ISO 9001, preferably also AS9100

Desirable Skills

  • Experience of DO-254 & DO178C Design Assurance
  • Professional registration as a Chartered member of the Quality Institute (CQI)
