Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Reliability Engineer to join our Quality and Reliability Engineering Team at TE Connectivity. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for analyzing the ability of our products and production systems to meet customer and contractual requirements.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control systems to ensure compliance with customer and regulatory requirements.
  • Conduct analysis on the reliability of our products and their components, including cost, structure, weight, maintainability, and availability of materials and equipment.
  • Develop and document analytical methods for establishing the reliability of our products and their components.
  • Participate in audits of manufacturing and control systems to ensure compliance with quality and regulatory standards.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement corrective actions to improve product reliability and quality.
  • Develop and maintain quality documentation, including procedures, work instructions, and training materials.
  • Conduct 8D defect investigations and present written preventative and corrective actions.
  • Review the effectiveness of corrective actions and implement improvements as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as engineering, quality assurance, or a related field.
  • Good understanding and ability to use MS Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with mechanical measurement techniques and ability to use electrical and mechanical measuring equipment.
  • Capable of reading engineering drawings and blueprints.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to learn under supervision and gain knowledge and record methods to improve working practices.
