Manufacturing Engineering Manager

At TE Connectivity, we are committed to fostering a safer, more sustainable, and interconnected world. As the Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will oversee a talented group of engineers and production staff to enhance manufacturing processes and promote ongoing improvements.

  • Establish and articulate a departmental strategy that aligns with corporate goals
  • Oversee and allocate tasks across various sectors, including Toolroom, Facilities, Engineering, and Estimating
  • Refine and stabilize production workflows
  • Collaborate with Design Engineering and Project Management to facilitate effective new product launches
  • Provide prompt solutions and address challenges on the shop floor
  • Initiate cost-saving measures and manage financial resources efficiently
  • Encourage training and professional growth for team members, ensuring a culture of continuous improvement
  • Uphold workplace organization and advocate for 5S principles

Qualifications and Experience:

  • At least 5 years of experience in manufacturing
  • A minimum of 2 years in a managerial capacity
  • Degree in engineering or a related discipline
  • Familiarity with TPM, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Practical experience with CNC and molding machinery
  • Proficient in SAP and Minitab software
