Position Overview:

We are excited to announce a vacancy within our Commercial Portfolio Therapy Area, following an internal promotion. The Established Brands Portfolio Lead will oversee a vital portfolio of brands that consistently deliver value to both the NHS and Pfizer. This role offers the successful candidate an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of portfolio-level profit and loss management while collaborating with key stakeholders across various sectors, including the NHS.
As a key member of the Established Brands Leadership team, recognized as a subject matter expert and reporting directly to the Head of Established Brands, the responsibilities include:

  • Driving growth for a complex portfolio of Established Brands, including critical branded products, generic launches, and generic loss of exclusivity products.
  • Managing and implementing strategies to mitigate stock shortages for the Established Brands portfolio through partnerships based on trust, leading cross-functional teams from various departments as necessary.
  • Collaborating with Commercial Performance and Procurement Managers to develop effective pricing strategies at the brand level.
  • Planning and executing innovative solutions and best-in-class strategic and operational brand plans for the UK to meet revenue expectations and operational expenditure commitments.
  • Making capital allocation decisions across the portfolio to optimize overall growth and profitability in alignment with agreed return on investment targets.
Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

  • A degree in science, life sciences, or business; advanced studies in management are advantageous.
  • A proven track record of high performance and delivering exceptional results in brand or commercial marketing.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, capable of achieving ambitious results through teamwork in complex environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare landscape.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to identify significant challenges and balance immediate needs with long-term objectives.
  • Well-organized, adaptable, and able to prioritize multiple demands while performing effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment, with the maturity to navigate ambiguity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Proven capability to influence stakeholders without direct authority.
  • Ability to articulate complex concepts and strategies clearly in both verbal and written formats to diverse audiences.
