Position Overview:

We are excited to announce a vacancy within our Commercial Portfolio Therapy Area, following an internal promotion. The Established Brands Portfolio Lead will oversee a vital portfolio of brands that consistently deliver value to both the NHS and Pfizer. This role provides an opportunity to gain in-depth knowledge of portfolio-level profit and loss management while collaborating with a variety of key stakeholders across the organization and the NHS.
As a key member of the Established Brands Leadership team, recognized as a subject matter expert and reporting directly to the Head of Established Brands, this position is accountable for:

  • Driving sustainable growth for our intricate Established Brands portfolio, which includes critical branded products, generic launches, and generic loss of exclusivity products.
  • Implementing management strategies to mitigate stock shortages for the Established Brands portfolio through Anchor in Trust partnerships, leading cross-functional teams and collaborating with colleagues from various departments.
  • Partnering with Commercial Performance and Procurement Managers to devise and execute effective pricing strategies at the brand level.
  • Planning and developing innovative solutions while implementing best-in-class strategic and operational brand plans for the UK to meet revenue expectations and operational commitments.
  • Making capital allocation decisions across the portfolio to optimize overall growth and profitability in alignment with established return on investment targets.
Candidate Profile:

Qualifications:

  • A university degree in science, life sciences, or business; advanced studies in management are advantageous.
  • A proven track record of high performance and exceptional results in brand or commercial marketing.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills, capable of achieving ambitious results through teamwork in complex matrix environments.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the pharmaceutical industry and healthcare landscape.
  • Strategic acumen, including creativity and effectiveness in identifying significant strategic challenges and balancing immediate needs with long-term vision.
  • Highly organized with the ability to adapt, prioritize multiple demands, and perform effectively under pressure.
  • Proven capability to thrive in a dynamic, evolving environment, demonstrating the professional maturity to navigate ambiguity.
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to influence others without direct authority.
  • Proficient in analyzing, defining, and conveying complex concepts and strategies to diverse audiences, both internal and external.
  • Capacity to foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Willingness to take calculated risks.
