About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Communications and Engagement Officer to join our team at Adecco on a 1-year fixed-term contract. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective communication strategies to engage with our stakeholders and partners.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement communication plans to engage with stakeholders and partners
  • Manage media relations and crisis communications
  • Organize and manage events, including public engagement activities
  • Assess the effectiveness of communication strategies and make recommendations for improvement
  • Provide IT support, including developing and maintaining web pages and managing digital and social media platforms
  • Interpret and communicate complex information to non-technical stakeholders
Requirements
  • Proven experience in communications, public relations, or journalism
  • Nationally recognized qualification or equivalent relevant experience
  • Excellent IT skills, including Microsoft Office and web development
  • Experience of working in digital and social media
  • Ability to travel across the Thames Valley as required
  • Full UK driving license
