Job Title: Revenue Assurance Manager

Aurora Energy Research is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Revenue Assurance Manager to lead our Revenue Assurance function, driving efficiency and excellence across all related processes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Streamline Contract Flow Processes: Collaborate with the Commercial and Legal teams to reduce queries and improve efficiency and data accuracy.
  • Ensure Compliance: Ensure all orders are compliant with company policies and customer requirements.
  • Revenue Analysis: Analyse revenue streams and highlight discrepancies.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve revenue-related issues promptly.
  • Billing and Invoicing: Monitor billing to ensure timely and accurate invoicing.
  • Process Improvement: Provide recommendations for process improvements to enhance revenue generation.
  • Reconciliation: Reconciliation between CRM and ERP reported figures, adjusting for credit notes, revenue recognition policies and treatment of foreign exchange.
  • Team Management: Oversee the team managing the billing process to ensure invoices are accurate, timely, and compliant with relevant regulations and customer contracts.
  • Debt Collection: Oversee the team managing the debt collection process to improve collection rates and reduce debtor days.
  • Cash Flow Management: Work with Treasury to manage cash flow forecasting and reporting.
  • Documentation: Document the ERP revenue recognition methodology.
  • Reporting: Implement Power BI reporting for global insights, ensuring comprehensive and accurate reporting across all regions.
  • Team Leadership: Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team.
  • Culture Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the function.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Qualified Accountant (ACA, CIMA, ACCA)
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in related financial operations, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Strong understanding of Order to Cash processes, including order management, billing, credit and collections, cash application, and dispute management.
  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and driving process improvements.
  • Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical skills with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
  • Communication: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g., D365), Salesforce, and automation tools.
