Overview of the Role:
The Community Treatment and Care (CTAC) services are integral to the Primary Care Improvement Plan (PCIP), established as part of the 2018 GP contract. This initiative allows patients to access healthcare services traditionally offered by general practitioners. The role involves joining the CTAC coordinator team to facilitate the delivery of essential services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and support the implementation of services within Community Treatment and Care (CTAC), including vaccination programs and community-based clinics.
- Manage general administrative duties such as staff scheduling, absence management, and performance appraisals.
- Supervise band 3 and band 5 nursing teams, ensuring high standards of patient care are maintained.
- Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient care delivery.
Candidate Profile:
The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a dynamic workload. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration within the team.
Qualifications:
A first-level registered nurse with substantial post-registration experience is required. While community experience is advantageous, it is not mandatory. Candidates must provide evidence of current NMC registration prior to commencing employment.
This position necessitates PVG Scheme Membership / Disclosure Scotland Check, and the successful applicant will be required to travel across the designated area to provide care in various settings. A valid driving license is essential, and reasonable adjustments will be made for applicants as needed.
