Experienced Residential Support Worker - Children's Activity

Join our team of dedicated professionals who are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people. As an Experienced Residential Activity Worker, you will be at the heart of our mission to support children with complex emotional and behavioral needs.

About Us:

Keys Group is a leading provider of specialist care and education services for children and young people across England and Wales. We are dedicated to supporting children with Emotional and Behavioral Disorders (EBD), ensuring they receive the care and guidance needed to thrive.

The Role:

  • Providing high-quality care and support to children with complex emotional and behavioral needs.
  • Engaging young people in outdoor activities such as mountain biking, rock climbing, and kayaking.
  • Building strong, trusting relationships with the children, promoting their emotional stability and development.
  • Supporting the children in developing essential life skills and helping them achieve positive outcomes.

What We're Looking For:

  • Experience: Previous experience working in a Residential Children's home or similar care setting is essential.
  • Passion for the Outdoors: A strong interest in outdoor activities and a desire to share this with young people.
  • Personal Qualities: We are looking for someone who is compassionate, patient, and resilient, with the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Hold a full UK driver's license.
  • Comprehensive training, including a Level 4 qualification in Children's & Young Persons Care.
  • A shift pattern that offers excellent work-life balance.
