About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Support Worker to join our Residential team at Aspris Care. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality childcare practice and supporting the Registered Manager in delivering exceptional care to our young people.

Key Responsibilities
  • Actively safeguard and promote the welfare of our children and young people who live in the home.
  • Support across the home, working with the Registered Manager to provide the best possible care for our young people.
  • Provide high-quality childcare practice, within Aspris Care's philosophy, underpinned by a Person-Centred Values therapeutic approach.
Requirements
  • Minimum 18 months or more experience working within a residential setting.
  • Achieved your Level 3 Diploma (Residential Childcare) or equivalent.
  • Ability to interact with a range of people/young people.
  • Confidence and ability to lead a team of Support Workers.
  • Experience working with children who may display challenging behaviour.
  • Shift work including weekends, evenings, and sleep-in duties on a rota system.
  • Full driving licence is essential.
