Receptionist Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Receptionist to join our team at Hilton Edinburgh Carlton. As a Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a vital role in ensuring their stay with us is exceptional.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their queries and resolving any issues in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Manage the front desk, handling check-ins, check-outs, and room assignments.
  • Process payments, handle foreign currencies, and maintain accurate records.
  • Assist with audits, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
Requirements:
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
  • Basic knowledge of hotel operations and procedures.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
