We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Multi Skilled Engineer to join our Droitwich site. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth operation of our production facilities by maintaining and repairing a wide range of machinery.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Diagnose faults and effectively repair and maintain various types of equipment.
  • Proactively identify potential issues with machinery and components, reporting any defects or signs of failure.
  • Service, adjust, and repair machinery using appropriate tools and techniques, adhering to safety protocols.
  • Conduct thorough inspections of machinery and equipment, providing detailed reports on their condition, performance, and recommended improvements.
  • Execute planned and preventative maintenance schedules to ensure optimal equipment reliability.
  • Interpret technical service instructions and implement them accurately for various machinery and equipment.
  • Actively participate in training programs provided by the company to enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Maintain accurate records of parts used and inventory levels within the CMMS system.
  • Assess repair costs and order necessary replacement parts promptly.
  • Collaborate with equipment manufacturers to resolve technical issues and obtain support.
  • Contribute to site-wide initiatives focused on quality, health & safety, environmental management, engineering excellence, and autonomous maintenance.
  • Utilize problem-solving techniques such as 5WHY and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) to identify and address root causes of issues.
  • Support departmental efforts in implementing 5S programs for workplace organization and efficiency.
  • Apply Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM) principles to optimize equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
  • Assist with internal and external audits related to various site operations.
  • Utilize the CMMS system effectively, recording information accurately and leveraging historical data for improvement initiatives, fault trending analysis, and quick resolution of issues.
