Position Overview:

The role of Senior Engineer Technician / Lead Engineer is available at our Droitwich facility. This position involves hands-on responsibilities as a senior engineering technician, with the additional duty of stepping in for the engineering technician team when the engineering team leader is unavailable.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain comprehensive knowledge of all Electrical, Pneumatic, and Mechanical drawings.
  • Utilize advanced automation skills for troubleshooting and resolution, alongside advanced electrical and mechanical skills for diagnosis and replacement.
  • Execute all maintenance tasks, including Planned Maintenance (PM), Condition-Based Maintenance (CBM), Continuous Improvement (CI), and corrective actions. Participate in Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) activities as necessary.
  • Identify and implement process improvements.
  • Act as a deputy for the engineering team leader when required, attending stakeholder meetings and coordinating breakdown analysis reports.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Time-served multiskilled maintenance engineer or shift engineering technician.
  • Experience with automation tools and Continuous Improvement techniques.
  • Background in the manufacturing industry.
  • Proficient in root cause analysis.
  • Possession of HNC in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience in a team leadership role.
  • Ability to manage stakeholder relationships.
  • Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Knowledge of Permit to Work (PTW) and contractor control procedures.
  • Understanding of Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) protocols.
