Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled HGV Technician to join our Transport Department at our Droitwich Depot. As an HGV Technician, you will be responsible for inspecting and maintaining our fleet of vehicles, preparing them for MOT testing, and carrying out repairs and maintenance tasks.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and maintain our HGV fleet to ensure they are in good working condition
  • Prepare vehicles for MOT testing and transport them to the test centre
  • Record vehicle defects and keep accurate records of work carried out on each vehicle
  • Repair minor accident damage and carry out fault diagnosis
  • Put safety first regarding all aspects of the role
Requirements
  • City & Guilds part 2 & 3 / BTEC / IMI in motor vehicle management or equivalent practical experience in the commercial vehicle industry
  • Commercial experience on HGVs is essential
  • Class C+E licence preferable but not essential
