Job Summary
Montresor Legal is seeking a highly experienced Derivatives Lawyer to join our Markets legal team in the UAE. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and advising on a range of legal issues related to OTC derivatives, hedging, repos, and stocklending.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise on the structuring and documentation of derivatives transactions, including OTC derivatives, hedging, and repos.
- Draft and negotiate complex legal agreements, including ISDA master agreements and credit support annexes.
- Provide regulatory support to the relevant businesses in Markets, including compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and coordination of legal matters.
Requirements
- 4-8 years of post-qualification experience in derivatives and structured products law, with a strong background in private practice in the UK, UAE, or another major jurisdiction.
- Proven expertise in OTC derivatives, hedging, and repos, with a strong understanding of relevant laws and regulations.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and external clients.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate complex legal issues and provide practical solutions.
