Academic Accessibility Coordinator, Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Service

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Service as an Accessibility Enhancements Manager. This is a fixed-term, part-time post working 28.8 hours per week to 23 August 2025, providing cover for a permanent member of staff who is absent on maternity leave.
Key Responsibilities- Develop, plan, oversee, and deliver initiatives, projects, and activities to promote an accessible and inclusive environment for students across the university.
- Develop and deliver high-quality guidance to university staff on accessibility and inclusive practice for students.
- Evaluate performance, identify opportunities for improvement, and drive forward projects within the Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Service.
The post holder must be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience in project management. They must also have the ability to lead the development of proactive services that realise the University's strategic objectives and provide excellent support to staff and students in promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that the post holder can fulfil the staff vetting requirements in respect of University Positions of Trust.
