Accessibility Enhancements Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Accessibility Enhancements Manager in the Academic Section. This is a fixed-term, part-time post working 28.8 hours per week (0.8FTE) to 23 August 2025 to provide cover for a permanent member of staff who is absent from work on maternity leave.
The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, planning, overseeing, and delivering a series of initiatives, projects, and activities aimed at promoting an accessible and inclusive environment for students across the university. This will involve providing high-quality guidance to university staff regarding accessibility and inclusive practice for our students.
The post holder must be educated to degree level or equivalent and have experience in project management. They must also have the ability to lead the development of proactive services that realise the University's strategic objectives and provide excellent support to staff and students in promoting inclusivity and accessibility.

Key Responsibilities- Develop and deliver high-quality guidance to university staff regarding accessibility and inclusive practice for our students.
- Evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement and drive forward projects within the Student Wellbeing and Inclusivity Service.
- Lead the development of proactive services that realise the University's strategic objectives and provide excellent support to staff and students in promoting inclusivity and accessibility.
