This position presents a unique opportunity to influence the programme's future trajectory, engage with senior stakeholders, and make a significant impact on small businesses. As an integral member of our team, you will collaborate closely with the Programme Lead, playing a crucial role in defining the strategic vision and framework of the programme, preparing comprehensive briefings for key stakeholders, and engaging with various partners.
Key Responsibilities
In this position, you will enhance the programme environment through three primary avenues:
1. Ensuring Programme Excellence:
- Proactively oversee the programme's execution, ensuring alignment with its objectives.
- Foster strong partnerships with delivery collaborators, holding them accountable for achieving targeted results.
- Implement ongoing enhancements to improve programme efficiency and effectiveness.
2. Financial Oversight:
- Manage a substantial budget of £26 million.
- Lead the quarterly financial review process, delivering clear and insightful financial analyses.
- Monitor programme performance and mitigate risks, ensuring financial and operational integrity.
3. Future Innovation:
- Assess the overall impact of the programme, identifying areas for enhancement.
- Develop a comprehensive business case and various policy options to inform the next phase of the programme.
- Contribute to strategic planning in anticipation of funding reviews, ensuring the programme's sustainability.
This role is dynamic and varied, offering the chance to collaborate with policymakers and influence the strategic direction of the programme. Essential Qualifications:

- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information to diverse audiences.
- Proficiency in managing multiple projects simultaneously.
