About the Role
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Senior Programme Manager to join our team at Liverpool Heart and Chest Hospital. As a key member of our evaluation team, you will play a crucial role in driving the expansion of our evaluation capabilities and contributing to the development of our strategic plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and lead mixed-method evaluation projects in a healthcare setting, including managing access to relevant datasets, identifying metrics, and process evaluation.
- Develop and implement diverse evaluation-based programmes in a range of networks across the region, working closely with the Head of Programmes.
- Drive and support the planning, management, and delivery of key projects across the North West Coast, including the development of project plans with appropriate phasing timescales and milestones.
- Build a network and seek out new opportunities for collaboration and income generation, contributing to bid proposals and scoping new project opportunities.
- Act as an expert resource to HINWC, regional NHS, and associated structures, maintaining a high level of current, evidence-based knowledge relevant to the post holder's areas of work interest.
Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline and experience in a health-related arena.
- Experience of working at a senior or sub-senior level in a complex organisation.
- Experience of designing and leading mixed-method evaluation projects in a healthcare setting.
- Quantitative expertise, including managing access to relevant datasets, identifying metrics, and process evaluation.
- Significant experience of managing and delivering complex projects to completion and timescales.
- Excellent interpersonal, teambuilding, and communication skills, with the ability to present complex information to a variety of audiences.
Desirable Qualifications and Experience
- Qualification in research, evaluation, statistics, or data science discipline.
- Experience of working in an NHS environment and understanding of national and local NHS policy.
- Experience of quasi-experimental study designs and evaluation techniques in a real-world, non-controlled setting.
