Job Title: Evening and Weekend Care Professional Stanmore

Job Description:

Companionship Services:

  • Provide companionship and conversation to our clients.
  • Engage clients in various activities, such as hobbies, crafts, and social events.
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events.

Home Help Services:

  • Perform light housekeeping tasks, including dusting, vacuuming, and laundry.
  • Organize and tidy cupboards, check food expiry dates, and assist with grocery shopping.
  • Cook a variety of meals from raw ingredients and maintain good food safety practices.
  • Assist with pet care and provide companionship to our clients.

Personal Care:

  • Assist with bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Provide continence care and support.
  • Consider the needs and perspectives of clients with dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
  • Assist with morning and evening routines.

Essential Criteria:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Respect for clients' backgrounds, beliefs, and medical conditions.
  • Reliability, punctuality, and good time management.
  • Good hygiene practices and a smart appearance.
  • Ability to obtain an Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body.
  • Class 1 business insurance or reliable transport.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Resident in the UK.
  • Right to Work documents available.
  • No sponsorship available.
  • All benefits.
  • Previous care experience preferred.

Qualifications:

No formal qualifications required, but a passion for caring and a willingness to learn are essential.

Pay:

  • £12 per hour.
