Job Title: Evening and Weekend Care Professional Stanmore

Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and reliable Evening and Weekend Care Professional to join our team at Home Instead. As a key member of our care team, you will provide companionship and support to our clients in their own homes, helping them to maintain their independence and quality of life.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide companionship and conversation to clients, stimulating their minds and encouraging their interests
  • Assist with light housekeeping tasks, such as dusting, vacuuming, and laundry
  • Support clients with personal care, including bathing, dressing, and grooming
  • Accompany clients to appointments and social events, promoting their social interaction and well-being
  • Prepare healthy meals and snacks, using raw ingredients and following good food safety practices
  • Assist with pet care and provide emotional support to clients

Requirements:

  • Ability to listen, communicate clearly, and build relationships with clients and their families
  • Respect for people with different backgrounds and beliefs, and a commitment to non-discriminatory care practice
  • Excellent timekeeping and organizational skills, with a reliable and punctual approach
  • Good hygiene practice, including personal hygiene and a smart appearance
  • Enhanced Disclosure from the relevant body, and Class 1 business insurance (if using own car for business purposes)

Qualifications:

No qualification required, but a passion for caring and a motivation to help us achieve our ambitions is essential.
