As part of our ongoing expansion, we are seeking a dedicated Construction Safety Specialist to enhance our health and safety team. This role will focus on overseeing health and safety standards across various sites, ensuring compliance with our Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ) strategy. You will be instrumental in supporting our operational teams while fostering a culture of safety where every individual is valued.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with clients and internal health and safety teams
  • Participate in client health and safety meetings
  • Provide guidance to site teams on health and safety matters
  • Evaluate and review safe systems of work
  • Advise during safety start meetings
  • Assist with daily health and safety operations on-site
  • Conduct site inspections and document findings
  • Investigate incidents and accidents
  • Coordinate training for project personnel

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 2 years in a site-based health and safety role within the construction industry
  • Strong communication skills with experience in client-facing roles
  • A collaborative team player with a solid understanding of health and safety practices in construction
  • Proficient in IT and report writing

Preferred Qualifications:

  • NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent
  • First Aid certification
