About the Role


We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Insurance Placement Specialist to join our team at Bravo Networks. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial part in identifying placement opportunities to increase partner insurer penetration, growing Bravo Network income through partner placement, and expanding Gross Written Premium (GWP) with existing partner insurers.


Key Responsibilities


Some of the key responsibilities of this role include:


  • Collaborating with Business Development Managers (BDMs) and our members (independent insurance brokers) to identify new individual cases and markets to approach.
  • Supporting the placement of business with Strategic Partner Insurers and wider family markets, assisting members grow GWP with partner markets.
  • Reviewing the success of identification and placement of new business on a monthly basis.
  • Maintaining the internal central database of pipeline activity.
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with BDMs, Placement Team, Insurer Relations Managers, and providing regular feedback to line manager.
  • Producing monthly MI for BDM and Line Manager, identifying areas of opportunity and acting upon them.
  • Maintaining a good working knowledge of Insurer appetites, applying it to placement activity within the Bravo Network Membership, keeping up to date with industry news and developments, and having an overview of Bravo Network strategy and articulating it to Members.
  • Ensuring all relevant business activities fully comply with FCA regulation and company Conduct Framework process and promoting and embedding a TCF culture in all business dealings.


Requirements


To be successful in this role, you will need to have:


  • A proactive and influencer mindset with strong relationship management skills.
  • Effective communication and planning skills.
  • Self-motivation and a driven attitude.
  • Previous experience in the insurance industry, with current and extensive product knowledge in both personal and commercial lines markets.
  • CII qualifications would be a bonus, but we offer plenty of opportunity and support to gain industry qualifications.
